About Universal Columns (UC)
Universal Columns (UCs) are H-shaped sections designed primarily for axial compression. They have a wider cross-section relative to their depth compared to UBs, giving them better resistance to buckling in both axes. UCs are used as columns in multi-storey frames, portal frame columns, and heavy-duty posts. Available in serial sizes from 152x152 to 356x406.
