We supply the parts that go into every portal frame building; base plates, stiffener plates, purlin cleats, end plates, holding down bolts, coach bolts, and zinc phosphate primer.

What We Supply
All of our steel plates; base plates, stiffener plates, end plates, and purlin cleats are laser cut from S275 structural steel and CE marked to BS EN 1090. We stock standard sizes for the most common UB beams used in portal frame construction, and we can source custom sizes on request.

Our fixings range includes CE marked holding down bolt sets, coach bolts for timber purlins and side rails, and zinc phosphate primer for site-applied protection.

Steel Detailing Services
Alongside our components shop, we offer structural steel detailing using Tekla Structures. We produce fabrication drawings, erection drawings, material lists, and NC files for portal frames, multi-storey buildings, and mezzanine floors. Our Story

How It Started

The business came from first-hand experience managing structural steel projects. Our founder spent years reordering the same components for every job, the same base plates, the same bolts, the same primer and found that sourcing them was always slower and more expensive than it needed to be. There was no single supplier where you could order everything online at a fair price without setting up a trade account or meeting a minimum spend.

So he built one.
